Amber - It's indeed wonderful when you've grown up feeling and experiencing the 'magic' of a parent -- just a mom, just a dad or both. And then as an adult, still feeling that wonder & thankfulness...yet with an added perspective, a new set of eyes, ears & understanding... able to forgive and still love unconditionally. You were blessed with your dad... He was blessed with you... And we're all better for your sharing your story about this wonderful relationship...

Amber, I knew your dad in the 60's when him and your mom were dating and then married. Your mom was one of my best friends. I was in their wedding and she was in my wedding. They were married on our first anniversary. I lost contact with both of them when they divorced. I have wondered what happened to your mother over the years, but had no way to find her. I found your dad today on Google and was so sorry to hear he had passed away. He was a wonderful man! I just wish I had been in contact sooner!
Would love to hear from you.

I am so sorry to hear about Cleveland's passing. I was looking him up on Google when I found out he had passed. I knew him back in the 60's when he was married to my best friend Mary Kay. I lost contact with them both after they divorced and was trying to find Ambie and Trey. The tribute was so good and brought back so many memories! Again, I am so sorry to hear about his passing, he was a wonderful person!
